After the Executive MBA program had been approved by the Ministry of University Affairs, Burapha University offered a Master Degree Program in Business Administration for corporate executives and management in 1996. The program was formally approved by the University Board of Council in the sitting 1/1996 dated January 25, 1996. To manage the program effectively, the University Board of Council had appointed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suda Suwannapirom as the Director of Master of Business Administration Program for corporate executives and management. With financial support from the university in the form of investment loan, the amount of THB 1,300,000 was allocated as the seed money to run the program.
At present (in the year 2009), the Graduate School of Commerce has expanded into many regions to serve the needs of both public and private sectors. There are altogether 6 campuses: 1) Bangsaen Campus (Main Office) at the Graduate School of Commerce Building, Burapha University, Chonburi Province; 2) Bangkok Campus, at the United Center Building, Silom Rd.; 3) Rayong Campus, at the Star Plaza; 4) Saraburi Campus, at Saraburi Wittayakom School; 5) Mae Hong Son Campus, at Mae Hong Son Regional Revenue Office; and 6) Nonthaburi Campus, at Office of the Government Service Commission, Seminar Center Building, Tiwanonta Rd.
The Graduate School of Commerce is now offering 8 programs of Master
Degree of Business Administration and 2 programs of Doctoral Degree include Doctor of Business Administration program and Doctor of Philosophy program in Organization Development and Human Capability Management
