Direct Admission for students in the eastern region
About 50 % of all freshmen are selected via this means. 12th Graders (Mathayom 6 students) from the eastern coastal (Phase 2) development area consisting of 12 provinces including Chonburi, Rayong, Chachoengsaoi, Chantaburi, Trat, Sa Kaeo, Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok, Samutprakarn, Ayuthhaya, Lopburi, and Saraburi can enter the undergraduate programs when they pass the admission examinations given by the university.
Direct Admission for students throughout the country
About 15 % of all freshmen are selected by this means. The university offers opportunities to students nationwide who graduate from a high school, or are currently studying in grade 12 (Matayom 6) or in an equivalent grade level to take examinations given by the university.
About 30 % of all freshmen are selected by this means. The 12th graders (Mathayom 6 students) nationwide who can pass the entrance examinations administered by the Commission on Higher Education can join the undergraduate programs.
Special Admission (About 5 % of all the freshmen)
Admission for talented students nationwide
This is to encourage students enhancing the country’s reputation or making contributions to society to study in the undergraduate programs. With their high school academic performance, the students can choose fields of study specifically announced by the university.
Admission for the White Elephants Project
12th graders (Mathayom 6 students) nationwide with specialized talents are eligible. Currently, there are 3 Faculties for the students to choose from; namely the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and the Faculty of Sport Science.
Admission for Siamese Ruby Project
12th graders (Mathayom 6 students) nationwide with specialized talents in sport, Thai music, or arts are eligible to study in the Faculty of Education in the field of Health and Physical Education, Musical Drama Education, or Art Education.
Admission for Hometown-Bonding- Graduate Project
The university offers the opportunities for the students who get scholarships from the government or local organizations and have commitment to work in their hometown after completing a degree to study in the Nursing Program.
Admission for the Eastern Diamond Project
The students are eligible if they have house registration document stating that they have resided with their parents for at least 3 months in any of 12 provinces which are Chantaburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Trat,Sa Kaeo, Samutprakarn, Lopburi, Saraburi, and Ayudthaya.
Admission for Good Academic Performance Project
The Faculty of Information and Technology, Sra Kaeo Campus provides opportunities for high schools in Sra Kaeo Province or other adjacent provinces to choose students with good academic performance to study in this Faculty.
Admission for the expansion of opportunity to local students
Students are eligible to study at the Chantaburi Campus if they have a house registration document stating that they have resided in Chantaburi, Trat, Rayong, Chonburi, Chachoengsao, and Prachinburi.
The university offers both continuing graduate level and undergraduate level part-time programs. Part-time students with excellent academic performance may be transferred to study in regular programs if there are vacancies. The transfer will be duly considered by The Council of the Faculty/ College.
