Undergraduate Admissions
Applicants can apply for admission as follows: 1.
Four-year undergraduate programs through the National Entrance Examination
The examination is administered by the
Ministry of University Affairs for placement to public and private tertiary
institutions throughout Thailand. Application forms may be purchased in March
at the University and the examination is taken in April. Applicants must
have high school certificates (grade 12) or equivalent, and have a good command
of the Thai language. 2.
Four-year undergraduate programs through Burapha University's entrance
examination
The number of students admitted through
this procedure is 60% of the total number of places provided by the University.
A quota for students with special abilities e.g. sports or music. Students
can apply for the entrance examination in September and sit for the examination
at the beginning of November every year. To be eligible, students must be
studying in Grade 12 (Matayom VI) at high schools located in the twelve eastern
provinces (Chonburi, Samut Prakarn, Nakhorn Na-Yok, Srakaew, Prachinburi,
Chachuengsao, Rayong, Chantaburi, Trad, Saraburi, Lopburi, and Pranakornsri
Ayutthaya). They must also be residents of the eastern region at least one
year prior to the date of application. 3.
Four-year part-time programs of study Apart
from offering degree programs that are taught during working office hours,
Burapha University also offersfour-year special programs in the evening on weekdays
and during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays. Applicants who have graduates
from Grade 12 (Matayom VI) or equivalent can apply for admission between
February and March. The entrance examination administered by Burapha University
is usually held in May of each year. 4.
Two-year part-time continuing education programs of study Burapha
University invites applications from persons who have graduated with associate
degrees or equivalent to study for two-year part-time continuing education
programs in the following fields of study, the programs are offered only on Saturday
and Sunday. 1. "Bachelor of Business Administration
Program" with a major in Accounting, Marketing or
Personnel Management. 2. "Bachelor of Education
Program" with a major in Educational Technology or Industrial Technology
Education. 3. "Bachelor of Public Health Program"
with a major in Public Health. 4. "Bachelor of
Nursing Program" with a major in Nursing. 5.
"Bachelor of Science Program" with a major in Physics Instrument, Aquaculture,
or Maps
and Geographical Technology. Applicants
can apply for the programs between January and February. Entrance examinations
administered by Burapha University are usually held in February every year.
